Viva Las Vegas

Vegas has been one of the most visitited Hot Spots for adults 21 and over and has grown over emensely over the past few years. The name Las Vegas was always associated with adult entertainment. It existed for one reason only, gambling. The city attempted to redefine itself as a family destination, adding roller coasters and arcades to its predominantly adult lineup. The strategy didn't really take, as an explosion of topless shows and after-hours nightclubs over the past two or three years would seem to indicate. But to make it somewhat a family atmosphere you have choice of theme hotels such as the Luxor, New York-New York, the Venetian, the Aladdin, and Paris Las Vegas, as well as amusement parks such as Wet 'n Wild and the Adventuredome. Well family oriented or not every year, about 35 million people come to Las Vegas for the traditional reason -- to gamble, plain and simple. Half of those people come to party with casinos, wedding chapels, gift stores, strip clubs, and Clubs. Las Vegas is what some people might call a fantasyland. Vegas is also a "Vacation Hot Spot' because over the past few years the 21 and over crowd has taken Vegas by storm heading there for mini-vacations to "party it up", especially on Labor Day and Memorial Day weekend. They soak up the sun during the day, eat dinner, gamble and head to the clubs to the wee hours of the morning, known as afterhours.
